Hello friends im about to start my new project with afican black wood and euro spruce for my sitar guitar which was posted in other forum i want to ask doubt does 4pc back has any effect on sustain of a guitar than 2 pc back? what should be the final thickness of back and sides difficult to bend? waiting for ur replies |

I've built many a 4 piece back guitar and you won't notice a lick of difference IMO. I don't know what to tell you on back thickness but once you start to get over 3/32in thick it will be difficult to bend sides. |

I just did a 4 piece one 2 mo ago, no worries just make sure you have a vy tight joint and a well set up jack plane or ? |
